WRITERS IN THER RAW brings it's acclaimed songwriter series to the Count Basie Theatre (Red Bank, NJ) on May 1st with four singer/songwriters, each representing different musical genres and career points:
David Johansen of the legendary punk band, The New York Dolls . Rhett Miller of the alt-country heroes, Old 97's . Alec Ounsworth , of the rock sensation, Clap your Hands Say Yeah and the darling of Nashville's country charts, Aston Shepherd . Witness this intimate acoustic evening as these artists trade songs and stories, while inspiring and playing off each other, in this once in a lifetime event.
